Stress

OVERVIEW:

Stress affects us all daily and in most, if not all, aspects of our lives. Stress refers to the body’s response to perceived threat. It is a biological system that triggers, releasing a chemical known as cortisol that enhances your ability to respond to the threat. This is known as the 'Fight or Flight' response.

In small doses it can be a positive force but in larger amounts it can impact our health and permeate other areas of our lives. Having ways to manage our stress levels can help us to maintain healthy relationships and balanced wellbeing.
